Indication of Itch Rid Cream
This cream/ointment help treat fungal infections while soothing and protecting damaged skin. This medicine may be used for: Fungal skin infections, Athlete’s foot (tinea pedis), Ringworm (tinea corporis), Jock itch (tinea cruris), Skin irritation associated with fungal infections, Minor skin inflammation and rashes.
How To Use of Itch Rid Cream
Clean and dry the affected area before applying the medicine. Apply a thin layer of the cream/ointment to the affected skin as directed by the physician. Wash hands before and after application. Avoid contact with eyes, mouth, and mucous membranes.
Storage of Itch Rid Cream
Store below 25–30°C. Protect from heat and moisture. Keep the tube tightly closed. Keep out of reach of children.

Mechanism of Itch Rid Cream
Clotrimazole inhibits fungal cytochrome P450–dependent lanosterol 14-α-demethylase, leading to impaired ergosterol synthesis and disruption of fungal cell membrane integrity. Boric acid exerts weak antiseptic and antifungal activity by altering microbial cell membrane permeability and enzymatic function. Zinc oxide acts as a protective astringent barrier that reduces moisture and irritation while promoting skin healing. Lanoline functions as an occlusive emollient, enhancing skin hydration and improving barrier function.
